Alamogordo is the name of a city in New Mexico. It is known to have been a test area for one of the first atomic bombs. This project is about clothing as a trace and vector in history. Whether in Germany, Poland, Hiroshima or Alamogordo, clothing is one of the last proofs of the lives that passed through there. I collected used clothes for several months, which I tore up, inked, and went through the press to print their mark on the paper. The rendering, almost radiographic, the texture of the button that bursts under press, reminds me of the blast of the bomb.
