Installation: 3 “burnt portraits” of Walter Benjamin, Bertolt Brecht and Sigmund Freud; 3 overhead projectors with 3 texts, Critique of Violence, Great Fear and Misery of the Third Reich, General Theory of Neuroses.
Tribute to authors whose works were burned by the Nazis during the Second World War. Three sheets of paper were “burned” in places to reveal the authors’ faces, before being fixed to the wall. A text from each of them is then retro-projected onto the wall.
